I’ve got to hand it to these dudes, they’ve been after a Jam in the Van for the longest. I mean, they started out by hitting us up on our Instagram asking for the session, and full disclosure, that’s kind of a pet peeve of mine. Because, like, no, you’re not going to comment on our Instagram asking if you can get a session and get one. Well, I mean, if you’re Trey Anastasio and you do that, yeah, sure, but if you’re a little known band in the LA music scene and you put a comment on a random photo saying “hey can we jam in The Van?” No, you’re not going to get it. That’s just not professional, and we are %100 professionals, ask Spud. However, they eventually followed proper protocal, and they emailed us at Bands@JamintheVan.com and they were super polite and complimented our sessions. Now, I’m not going to lie, the first go around we listened to their music and it didn’t have that wow factor, it didn’t grab us, so we said you guys ain’t ready yet. This didn’t deter them. They didn’t get upset, they didn’t start to hate us. They just went back in the lab and they worked their butts off, and they kept putting up nice comments on our social media, stayed on our radar, and they kept re-submitting their music the proper way, and eventually we said damn it, these dudes are too nice, and they’ve been working on their tunes, and they finally grabbed us. So here we have a Young Creatures Jam in the Van Session, a testament to hard work and persistance. Good shit boys, good shit…
