There’s something inherently lonely about a solitary soul and their guitar.  Even if they’ve got an audience, it still seems like they’re having a conversation with themselves.  Even if they’ve got an audience, the artist is alone in his song.  Nobody is on stage with them, nobody else is plucking the strings.

That’s the way we walk through life.  It’s one long conversation with oneself.  Sure you have friends and family and people who walk alongside of you, but you come and go on your own.  Nobody holds your hand inside of your head, you alone pluck the strings.  Mistakes are yours to make and carry all by your lonesome.

So we held cameras on this solitary fellow who came to hang out with his guitar in our van.  We pressed play while he strummed and sang and told a few stories.  We’ve mastered the sound and cut the video and synched it all together, all in hopes that it will help us, you know, when we’re talking to ourselves…
