Things I remember about this session…

Wild Ones showed up with their manager Dane, whom we’ve hung out with on several occassions and I goofed and called him Blaine, because we were working with another Blaine that week. I wasn’t sure Dane heard me goof, so I quickly figured out another reason to call him by his proper name and did it correctly.

Russell from Lagunitas was hanging out with us that day and when the session finished he exclaimed “the voice of an angel.”

It hadn’t started to rain in Austin yet, but literally everyone who showed up at the house that day asked us if we were ready for the rain.

We were not ready for the rain.

It’s funny the bits and pieces of days that you remember. None of them were too important, but everytime I hear that voice of an angel I’ll think about Dane and Russell. That’s how memories work, and I wouldn’t trade any of them for anything. Not even the rainy ones…
