I’m not sure why in our nearing five years of jamming in vans that we have not parked within the San Francisco city limits before. Most likely it’s because parking there is actually a really difficult operation. So when we found Lennon Studios we had a little extra motivation to make it happen there, because San Francisco is a damn cool place, and we like parking in cool places. So the stage was set, until of course the sets changed sizes, because we had to get a new van and it did not fit in the lot at Lennon. Yet we always have a way of making things happen, be it dumb luck or effort, we get shit done. This time it was via the rad crew at Lennon that consisted of should be rock and roll legends like Jimmy Crucifix and Smokey. Men who dress the part and act just as cool as their punk rock tats. In his mind Smokey runs that block of the city and as self appointed Ambassador, he knows his neighborhood and the people in it. So he found us a spot, it wasn’t perfect, but nothing should be. We make it happen, not always the way it’s meant to be, we’ve been untraditional from the start, so where have you been Sam Chase, glad you could make it to the party…
