In 2015, Tyke James (lead vocals/guitar) and Addison Sharp (guitar) met while living in Hawai’i. They started playing live shows and surfing together, performing as a duo in front of a local taco truck on select Taco Tuesdays. After multiple projects together, they enlisted Addison’s brother, Brierton (bass), and Willie Fowler (drums), turning the duo into a full band in 2018. They released their freshman album “Bryology” independently in 2019 followed by 2020 singles, Willies song and Dog Valley. In 2021 they released the final “two” of their album “Kentucky Derby”.
