We’ve been trying to make this session happen for years, so when we saw The Chris Robinson Brotherhood was playing on 4/20 in Ventura, CA at The Majestic Theater we opted to do something we haven’t done in a while, drive The Van to them and park it on the street right outside the venue. When we first started Jam in the Van that was just how we operated things, every week a new venue, new street, new parking lot… hoping the cops wouldn’t show up and kill the heady. As you can imagine it was pretty stressful, now we usually just have the bands come to us wherever we are at… but I have to admit it was pretty fun doing things the old fashioned way again, especially when you are doing it with The Chris Robinson Brotherhood.
