Put your head in your hands. Sit like that a moment and let the music wash over you. Let the cadence pick up. Let the rhythm take hold. Let it twitch down through your spine, past your knees, out your toes. Let it hold on to you, until you’re thinking of whatever it is you want to be thinking of, and it’s just backing that, and it’s all really, really good. So then the edge of your lip curls, and your eyes open up and your head raises, and you’re smiling, and it’s all really, really, good. If you get to do that once a day, then that’s something, and as long as you’ve got something, it’s alright, right? Sure, why not?
