I was sitting on a beanbag chair at Burgerama III scarfing a fairly dry burger and listening to The Audacity perform in the van when an upbeat fellow with a wide smile on his face skipped up to me. “Hi, I’m Pookie” he proclaimed as if I were supposed to know what that meant.

“Hi, I’m Jake” was my response.

“Is this your van?”

Technically the van belongs to the world, but in the sense of the question phrased here, the answer was yes, it was my van, so then what could I do for you Pookie? Was what I next conveyed. His response was simple, he wanted to perform with his poodlez in the van. “Who are your poodlez? I asked.

“Oh, that’s my band.”

I was feeling fairly generous that day, so I said what the hell, you and your Poodlez can Jam in the Van Mr. Pookie. I shall henceforth never question Pookie, ever again…
