I see that it’s taken Brad Oberhofer a few years to put the finishing touches on his sophomore album. I remember the first one was quite a while back because we filmed him around the release of that debut. It was during a debut of sorts for us as well, as Oberhofer was the first performer to play the, at the time, new, Jam Van 2.0, and he did so backstage at Bonnaroo, which was, as has been chronicled here before, like kind of a big deal for us. So I’ll always relate Brad Oberhofer to that day, a really momentous occasion. I can’t say it was a dream come true, because we’re nowhere near finished dreaming yet, but it was as close as we’ve gotten so far. It was a really great time, and it came as a result of a lot of hard work and planning, and not taking no for an answer and doing it our way. So I understand why it took Oberhofer so long to get a second album out to the world. Don’t cut corners on your dreams, because if you achieve them the hard way it feels so much better in the end, and you remember it forever…
