Since forming in 2017, Marshall Law Band (MLB), has grown from an unknown funk-hop six-piece to a lauded community collective to the house band of the Seattle Black Lives Matter movement. They were slated to Jam in the Van originally in Austin, TX in March of 2020, but days before The Van was set to hit the road, the world came to a halt. So here we are, playing it safe and Jamming Outside The Van in LA. The group’s music focuses on individual empowerment and positive community change through the filter of hard-hitting hip-hop vocals laid over funk instrumentation.
