Piano night was a fine affair. The locals and tourists arrived with equal excitement. Some dressed to the nines, others strolled in wearing tacky printed shirts and khaki shorts. Regardless, they were all there for a memory. A slew of piano men would take their turns on the keys inside of The House of Blues. Those fortunate enough to have a ticket go to see it first hand. Yet if you simply were passing by that humid April evening, no ticket in hand, you too got a chance to hear some memories as well. Outside on the street sat the Jam Van, with piano men like Jon Cleary tapping them out one song at a time. The crowds gathered, the lights twinkled, and the songs they live on here…
