This session almost didn’t happen. When we showed up at Brant Bjork’s studio we were only planning on filming three bands that day. But about 20 minutes after our arrival and about two minutes into conversation with Brant Bjork’s wife I was told that Jesika Rabbit was there in the flesh. My first thought being Roger Rabbit’s wife from the classic disney movie “Who Framed Roger Rabbit”. But this was not the case. Jesika Rabbit is a musician, performer and self proclaimed Queen of the High Desert whom apparently I was expected to recognize by name. Even Jesika introduced herself with a certain tone of “you should know who I am” in her voice. None of us actually knew who she was, but we went along for the ride… and now I can confidently say none of us will ever forget the infamous Jesika Von Rabbit.
