It was chilly in Los Angeles on this day in Autumn.  In fact, the weather was such that it’s actually fitting that I referred to it as Autumn, which is not a season we generally have in Los Angeles.  We don’t really have seasons in Los Angeles.  Yet it was chilly enough that I had to wrap my doggie pal in a sweater and I needed to wrap myself in a sweater that was entirely too small for me and I must have looked a slight bit ridiculous.  Jake Troth, his special lady friend in tow made as unassuming of an arrival as he possibly could have.  A quick introduction, a hello to my dog, and then they took a seat on the ground with the rest of us and awaited Jake’s turn in the beast.  When that time came he went inside in a similar manner to how he arrived, simple and easy.  Just him and a small guitar/ukulele hybrid instrument thingy.  The door closed, Jake started strumming and singing, and all of a sudden it didn’t feel so cold outside anymore…
