Chapis started as a home recording project of Cuauhtemoc (Temo) Molina in 2018. After some time, Molina knew the next step was to get a band together to perform his songs live. Together they create this mesh of genres with what is described as “laid back, groovy, synth, and chorus driven.” Since the band got together they have done some minor touring, including Molina’s hometown of Tijuana.
