Man, I woke up in Northern California today. Just wrapped on another JITV trip. This one was a doozy. Two festivals, two different scenes. Same results. Big success. Four years ago we said we’re going to build this thing, and it’s a good idea and it’s going to work. Then a year went by and it kind of worked, and we said “it’s still going to work,” and we looked forward to that future with anxious excitement. Then another went by and we said “we’re so close, it’s got to work, it’s just got to, I mean it is, but it’s got to really, really work.” Then another went by and another, and here we are, and now I’m thinking, “holy shit, it’s finally starting to happen,” I’m finally ready to fully believe that I’m going to watch this little engine that we set sail over the highways and byways of this great country really, really catch the wind and get to where we thought we were getting to all along.

Yes, it’s been with the help of great bands like today’s offering from Bad Suns. Yes it’s been with the help of great places like the two festivals we just left. Above all however, it’s been with the help of great people, who have fallen into this motley crew of characters that come on the road and make this magic happen with us. It’s the Dave Yeamans, the Jon Chetrits, the Ethan Glazes, Jack Higgins, Chris Mortenson, Spud, our new intern Olivia. It’s this crew of people who no longer do it just to make a buck. They do it because they buy in to what we’re doing, and they love it, and it shows in these videos. We finally found a recipe for success, and the main ingredient is people who are inspired to help us make this a reality. It took four years to fully figure that out, and it’s going to be the best thing we ever thought of. Even better than this magic bus I’m about to hop back in and head home with.

Enjoy the music…
