I ain’t a world traveler yet.  I been a few places, but most of my excursions have gone down within these United States of America.  So I can mostly speak to my knowledge of this country and any comparisons I can levy against it are based off of minimal field research.  That being said, I’ve been to Las Vegas a few times, and without speaking ill of it, I will say that it is an undeniably American place.  I don’t need an extensive emersion into European culture or elsewhere to know this, I’m an American, and therefore, I know it.  Be that a good thing or a bad thing, I’ll let the individual make their own judgement.  However, it is of my opinion that if you are from Las Vegas, and you name your band American Cream, and you play American rock and roll music, then you better wear the pants, fly the flag, and do it all proudly.  Because it’s not a bad place to be from at all.

So observe the lead man in American Cream’s pants.  Then listen to the jams.  Then if you feel so inclined, dance.  Because in this case, that is ample substitute for a salute.  As you were…
